Legendary optical quality from these, widely judged to be one of the best binoculars ever produced and still competitive with the best “alpha” roof prism models, plus that wonderful three-dimensional porro-prism quality. I have had these since new, so one careful owner but, at over 25 years since purchase, they have the inevitable areas of worn paint, but rubber coatings still in perfect condition. Lenses show some fine marks but no effect on optical qualities, and no fungi or other problems inside. Last service and collimation 2013. No longer birding enough to justify these and glad to pass on this classic instrument to another appreciative owner. Would prefer inspection and collection which could be either Oxford or Portsmouth.
