Newbold & Bulford leather and brass 2 draw telescope. This was made to celebrate Edmund Hillary reaching the peak of Mount Everest in 1953 (hopefully I’ve got that right!). For its age it is in good condition. Brass is tidy and the pull out hood is in good order. There is a single impression in the main body of the scope (pictured), but it does not effect its use or the draw mechanism. Optics look OK for a scope of this age. There are some small dust specs and a little element seperation on one of the smaller internal glasses around the edge but it remains usable. No scratches on the front. Rear element has its rotating protector plus both leather lens caps.
