United Kingdom ——- 2000 GBPIF YOU ARE READY 100% TO BUY IT NOW FOR ABOVE PRICE INLUDED SHIPPING PLEASE OPEN THE LINK DAILY DEALS        OPEN DAILY DEALS EBAY TODAY link https://www.ebay.com.item-34429747922.com/CT/c822.html    This Nikon (Nippon Kogaku) binocular is 1 of only 3 known to exist, and most likely there are less than 10 ever produced.  It was specifically made for a Japanese birding club at the behest of an avid birder who was a high ranking Nikon executive.  The doublet objective lenses are high quality astronomical lenses and the build quality is extraordinary.  The removable cast iron table top stand moves in three planes: vertically up/down, 360 degrees horizontal, and also pivots from side to side.  Since our daytime irises only open to a max of 3.0mm, the 3.3mm exit pupil size of this binocular makes the 50mm lens size ideal (50mm divided by 15x =3.3).  Image quality is superb by any standards and ultra sharp from edge to edge.  Color rendition is extremely accurate and no doubt aided by the long (for a binocular) focal length of 400mm (f/8 ratio).  This instrument was very well thought out and superbly engineered for the specific use of long distance birding, but is also excellent for ship watching and other long distance observations.  Could be adapted to a tall tripod for astronomical observations.  Everything is all original: the tubes look like white in my pictures but are actually a very pale baby blue.  Optics are pristine inside & out and collimation (alignment) is perfect.  Individual focusers are smooth & very precise.  This is the rarest binocular Nikon ever made since WWII (Nikon made a 250mm & 300mm battleship binocular with less than 10 produced during WWII).  In summation: this is a collectible and very usable instrument that will become an heirloom that your family can enjoy for decades to come.  Total weight 22 lbs. including cast iron stand.
