Offered for sale is a Meade ETX-70AT Digital Telescope. It is listed as used but is in excellent, boxed condition. The telescope was bought new several years ago but has hardly been used (5-10 occasions). For most of its life its been stored carefully in its box.Also included is a Meade #882 Standard Field Tripod which was bought new at the same time as the telescope. Similarly it is boxed and has hardly been used. However,when I was checking things prior to listing, I managed to break the small zipper on the carrying case accessories pouch. A seamstress should be able to fit a replacement zipper if required. Other than that, everything is in excellent,clean condition.As indicated in the photographs,the telescope and tripod boxes are in very good clean condition.MEADE ETX 70-AT TelescopeThis telescope has only been very lightly used and, as far as I can tell everything works perfectly. The electronics have been tested prior to listing.The Meade ETX 70 is a computer controlled telescope. Once it has been aligned the battery powered motor rotates the telescope mount to keep pace with the earths rotation so that objects remain stationary in the viewfinder. It can also be used as a terrestrial telescope with a right angled viewfinder (not included).The Autostar controller contains a data base of stars, planets and objects such as galaxies so that the telescope can firstly be aligned then,using the Go To function, made to slew to pick that object up.Included with this sale are: Meade ETX 70-ATTelescope

The boxed telescope will be packed inside a sturdy cardboard transit box with plenty of protective material to safeguard it during transport.
