Lovely little set of binoculars/opera glasses made by J H Steward in the second half of the 19th century. Inscribed J H Steward, Adjusted, London on one optic and 457-406 Strand, 7 Gracechurch Street on the other. In full working order with adjustable wheel working smoothly and no scratches to lenses. Comes complete with original case which while worn is very serviceable and attractive.
