Seems to be on its original corded lanyard.J D Moller has a very interesting history, just type in Google. Carl Zeiss had legal battles with J D Moller and Zeiss eventually became the majority shareholder in the the company.The case is leather, maybe pig skin, but not sure. there are two small tears on the leather near the latch/catch. The rear of case has a small pocket/purse. Inside there is a vanity mirror and protective cloth flap. the lower portion of the case is shaped to receive the binoculars.The binoculars still retains its original finish, but there are a few small areas with imperfections. Model number or serial number ? is stamped as 5077. Has the correct JDM monogram.One eyepiece shroud has lost one of its 3 micro/grub screws. The other eyepiece has all 3 screws, but some of their heads are worn.All in all a genuine original item that only needs a very small amount of work to make it 100%.Definately a worthwhile addition to your collection.
