This is a 3 inch (75mm) refractor telescope mounted on a GEM Equatorial Mount, with both axes motorised.
It has been in storage for some time and needs a little TLC, which is why I have listed it as “for parts, or not working”. Hence, sold as seen. Both motors do work, though one of the gearboxes will need a rebuild which is a simple task. There are some cosmetic issues to the tube and tripod.
The lens looks ok, but could do with a polish.
The mount features a polar alignment scope to simplify alignment. It is lightweight, but solid. I bought it originally from Orion Optics. It runs off a 12v battery (not supplied). No eyepieces are included, but I am providing a Telrad finder.
Collection in person would be easiest, though I’ll deliver within the Midlands area at 15p per mile or arrange a courier – we’ll work out a price for that.
