This is a lovely early 19th Century Day or Night Telescope by Thomas Harris and Son. Thomas Harris and Son ran from 1806 to 1846. Thomas Harris was working in Bloomsbury in 1767, the last anyone heard from him was 1837. He more than likely died then with the son taking over and running the business until 1846. It is all original and uncleaned made of Brass and Mahogany and inscribed ” T Harris & Son Day or Night”
