‘Classic’ Tasco Telescope – For Display!
The Tasco 40×40 telescope is a lovely ornamental gift for an astronomer. Many, many amateur astronomers have started out with this classic telescope and swore by them – Nowadays, you’d be mad to claim you could get a decent image from this awful optical instrument. Its charm lies in its sentimental value for wizened old astronomers like me!
This would make a lovely gift for a life-long astronomer who needs to know you appreciate him/her.
This one comes with the standard table top tripod and is in presentable condition. But without Boofle, my model demonstrator!
The telescope is app 600mm long. Stand is 250mm tall to adjustment knob.
Make no mistake, this is NOT a useful instrument at any level!
