fantastic telescope, change in job circumstance means i havent been able to use it since i bought it so reluctantly letting it go.
Celestron six inch newtonian on a motorised german equatorial mount. the scope is controlled by laptop.
the scope is in great condition, viewfinder scope is 6×30, included eyepieces are 9 12 and 20 mm, lovely condition mount with shelf.
laptop is a fujitsu on windows 7 and includes all the bundled software for running the telescope(laptop has a new battery).
basically you tell the telescope where it is(long and latt) and then run the star programmes to get the telescope to point at what you want to see.
the laptop connects via ethernet cable(ill see if ive got a spare one here).Theres a stack of programmes on the lappy(look at the pictures) including digital camera programmes, the previous owner did videos on this! also have a ps2 controller for controlling the telescope
normal scopes use commercially purchased programmes to achieve goto status, these programmes afre freeware/shareware so no added cost
I had also installed kodi krypton with a view to adding more programmes.
sad to see it go but its just gathering dust now
