Welcome to this auction for one Celestron Nexstar 5SE GoTo telescope. This item is in a used but very good condition, as its had very little fair weather use by only two beginner astronomers. We used this probably less than 10 times whilst living on a farm where conditions were suitable, but our new home skies are sadly polluted by far too much light. If you are looking at making a start into astronomy I can highly recommend this telescope as a good starting point. I found the Goto setup very easy, and very accurate at tracking your object. This was very important to me as I have a youngster who joined me but couldn’t spend hours and hours up late at night. Between us though, we have managed to see the moon in glorious detail, Jupiter and her moons, Saturn and her rings, the space station (with manual tracking) and a whole host of stars. I would like to sell to someone who can collect from me in Brackley Northamptonshire, so the item can been seen in full working order with perfect optics. Any questions, please ask. Mount and tube come in the original box, the tripod is carried separately. For clarity, you are buying the tripod, the goto mount and controller, optical tube assembly with the star diagonal and 25mm lens, basically everything you see here and need to get this scope working.
