Astronomical telescope. Celestron C102-HD refractor, includes adjustable tripod. This is a high quality, tried and trusted 4-inch model, suitable for both astronomical and terrestrial use. The model number is 21016. The adjustable legs have a design flaw which leads to the clamping mechanism failing, so it has been necessary to substitute finger-operated hose clips, as shown in the middle photo.
I have had this for 14 yrs, but it was only in use for the first few – it has been in (safe dry) storage since, due to lack of space. Finally admitting I will never have room for it, and reluctantly selling.
