For sale is my Orion 10″ Equatorial Mount Newtonian Reflecting Telescope in “near mint condition”

This telescope requires collimation (alignment of the mirrors) as I removed the main primary mirror for cleaning a year ago,

but have not had the time to align everything. Now I’m moving to a smaller house I need to sell it.  Cost 1,000.00 new and was 

purchased direct from Orion 15 years ago.

The primary mirror was very carefully removed and cleaned by myself using the correct method i.e. distilled water (not tap water), 

fairy liquid and cotton wool. The mirror is very clean and everything is back in place, just needs aligning.  This is a good deep sky 

telescope, you can see the red spot on Jupiter and its moons. Saturn and its rings can also be seen. The surface of the moon also 

looks fantastic. I am selling my eyepieces and astronomical filters here:

This sale is for the Newtonian Telescope pictured with mount /stand. The mount is motorised but I do not have the control box

it may turn up. Anyway I stopped using it long ago and prefer to manually adjust the positioning of the telescope.

Collection in person only due to size and weight.

A boxed Skywatcher correct image prism 45 degree diagonal for use with refractor and maksutov type telescopes with a 1.25″ focuser.  This diagonal gives an image which is correctly oriented both horizontally and vertically.  It is used but in good working order with both end protector caps with some cosmetic scratching around the eyepiece barrel.  More information available here – https://www.firstlightoptics.com/diagonals/skywatcher-45-erecting-prism.html.No ReservePlease check out my other items.
