A nice pair of vintage, high quality, Carl Zeiss Jena Jenoptem 10 x 50W (wide angle of view) Multi-Coated binoculars. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF SMALL MARKS IN THE COATING ON THE RIGHT HAND FRONT LENS ELEMENT, VERY MINOR, NOT AFFECTING THE IMAGE WHEN LOOKING THROUGH THE BINOCULARS (see pictures 2 & 3-without and with flash), the alignment is fine and all controls work smoothly, a very clear/sharp and bright view through the multi-coated lenses, wide field of view for 10x magnification, 7 degrees. Cosmetically they are in very good condition, no damage. Made in Germany (DDR), serial number 5417394. Complete with original leather neck strap and brown leather case with strap, case also in good condition. Well made, tough, classic binoculars in good condition apart from the above mentioned very small flaws in the lens coating, quite powerful which makes them ideal for race meetings as well as general purpose use.
