Carl Zeiss Jena Dodecarem 12x50B Binoculars – Rubber Coated A used Carl Zeiss Dodecarem 12×50 binocular with the rubber coating. This is a very hard binocular to find.
Optically, these are superb to look through. There are minor defects to the lens coating, but the collimation is sharp with no double image. The focusing is smooth.
There are marks and tiny splits to the rubber coating.
There is no case, and no lens caps. What you see in the photos is what you will receive.
The only minor niggle is that the rubber eyepieces have perished and need to be replaced. I am led to believe that replacements are available from Germany.
