These are a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars clearly marked “DDR” and with the correct 7-digit serial number. These high-quality compact Zeiss binoculars are fault-free with perfect, crystal-clear optics with no fungus or haze and with no damage to prisms or any cleaning marks/scratches on the lenses. Collimation is perfect with no double image. They focus very smoothly and produce and bright, pin-sharp image. Cosmetic condition is also excellent with just a few, hardly noticeable traces of wear. As a bonus they still have their original blue box, instruction leaflet, lifetime guarantee, solid leather red velvet lined case, case strap and black leather binocular lanyard, just like when they were sold new.
