No scratches on any lenses. Coated Lenses helpsminimize lens reflections, improve the clarityof vision and protect the lenses.There are no areas ofpaint loss which suggests minimal use.The main focus wheel andright diopter adjustment operate smoothly and correctly.Both barrels (in reverseview) clear and bright – see pictures.These binoculars arecollimated for prolonged fatigue – free viewing (no double image)I found the collimationto be ‘very good’ with no eyestrain. Theseare a superb pair of binoculars made by Carl Zeiss the world famous Germanoptical manufactures.The red velvet linedbrown binocular case is in a very good used condition.
