Carl Zeiss 8x30B Oberkochen West German Binoculars Serial number 607517 1960
These classic West German produced binoculars are in a very good/ used condition. I can see no scratches on the lenses. Looking into the binoculars from reverse view there is a small amount of haze present – I have studied this very closely and decided that the impact on the clarity of view is extremely light. I repeatedly switched between these and my pair of Deltrintems 1Q today and the brightness and clarity of view was the same to me. I have taken pictures of the reverse view and the haze is not visible because it is very light. Mentioned for accuracy only. The collimation i found is spot on. (another reason not to have the prism disturb)The main focus and Dioptre adjustment operate smoothly.Very little paint loss that I can see. Model B (fold down rubber eye cups for spectacle users) good condition. The case and straps all appear to be original and in a very good working order. The case is marked Carl Zeiss MADE IN GERMANY. The case catch works as it should. Remarkable condition for their 57 years of age.
