Carl Zeiss 8 x 20 binoculars – VINTAGE – West Germany. Not sure when they were made but the fact it says West Germany means more than 25 years ago. I have a friend who says his father had an similar pair purchased in the 1950s.
They have been in my family’s possession for a while but I don’t claim to be an expert in binoculars so can’t say if they are good or not. They seem to have been popular with bird watchers in the past.
Condition: Slight crack on one of the diopters – See photo. The flash on my cameraphone makes it worse than it is but without the flash you can’t see it at all in photo. I’m sure it can be fixed with superglue.
Please note: There is no storage pouch and no other accessories.
