#93920 serial cable for Celestron NexStar to PC connection allowing computer control over telescope GO-TO function and hand panel software upgrade.Following to numerous feedbacks I’m listing herein rewindable cassette serial cable. Obviously I’m not making this cable myself anymore but have to outsource it from reputable and well known name on the market, hence the price. All functionality remains the same as original plain wire #93920. The cassette design eliminates tangled lead problem forever. As well as (at least that’s what some of astronomers complained about) problem with broken plastic tubs on the plugs will be a matter of the past. Cable un-winds to full 5m length just by a slight pull on both ends. It can be also rewinded back for safe storage with serial plugs disconnected.
For safety and ease of postage I will unscrew small plastic winding handle from the cassette before sending this cable to you. Once received you can attach it back using small phillips or slotted screwdriver.
I will also included with this sale a link to download a basic astronomical software allowing easy navigation through night sky using your computer. All telescope GOTO functions supported.Every cable will be tested live on my own CGE mount before posting to you.Since I’m using the same equipment myself you’re more than welcome to ask any questions before or after purchase. Check my feedbacks – will be glad to help with your scope connection and setting up your GOTO control.Please note some newer PC’s (laptops in particular) may not have 9-pin COM-port available as standard.
