Compact and light-weight 8×32 binoculars. Excellent build quality – these were made in Japan, whereas most binoculars of this type and price point are now made in China. A nice crisp and comfortable focus can be achieved using the smooth focussing wheel. The objective lenses have acquired some scuff marks on the coating, though this does not appear to affect the image quality. There are no discernible marks on the eye pieces.
Rugged, durable exterior. High quality faux leather carry case, with lanyard (unused). Included are two covers for the objective lenses (also unused).
I’ve taken good care of these binoculars so they’re still in very good condition optically. They have never been dropped, banged or bumped. Ideal for birding, travelling and hiking, or as a backup pair to keep in the glove compartment of your car. That’s how I’ve used them.

I bought these binoculars from Ace Optics of Bath (sole importer) for 259. A comparable pair today would probably cost in the region of 300-400.
