Description WWI military binoculars
Dollond manufactured Prismatic binoculars in this style between 1916-18
Leather and brass construction
Condition The original leather strap is with them, but does need repair. The optics have some mould, so not a working item, but a piece of history.

Payments & Posting Please pay for your items within 3 working days of the auction ending via Paypal. We are unable to accept payment by cheque, postal order or cash. We dispatch our items within 3 working days of payment however if you would like us to dispatch your item the same working day as payment completes please contact us via message. We do not offer a buy it now price on our auction items, unless otherwise stated in the listing. This is because we dont want to be unfair to anyone else who is currently or might be waiting to bid. The majority of our items are sent using Royal Mail. However, if an item weighs over 2kg, or is more than 90cm in length, it will be sent by courier as it is outside of Royal Mail size restrictions. In these cases, locations outside of the UK mainland will be excluded from bidding. We encourage our customers to select a tracked service at checkout. If you select either Royal Mail standard 1st or 2nd class this does not automatically come with tracking. If you choose a signed for service items are automatically insured up to 50 (when sent via Royal Mail). For items with a starting price (or Buy It Now price) of 50 or more we have automatically included a higher level of Royal Mail insurance and this is reflected in the postal charge quoted on the listing. It is your responsibility to contact us (prior to payment) if you require a further level of insurance over and above what is quoted. Items sent via courier are insured up to the value of 20 as standard. We automatically insure items of a higher value (where the courier offers cover) and this is reflected in the quoted postal charges. If you are in the Highlands or Islands please message us for a quote before bidding. If you purchase two or more items we are happy to send out as one package to combine postage for you. Please message us before you pay with the details of the items you are purchasing for a postal quote. Paid for items can be collected in person from our offices in Avonmouth, Bristol. If you wish to do this you should contact us before paying via Paypal so that we can remove postage from your invoice.We politely request that items are collected within 5 working days of purchase, unless pre-arranged with our team.Any items that are not collected in this time will be automatically refunded and relisted.Our opening hours are Monday Friday 9am 5pm (excluding Bank Holidays).
