FAULTS:

None apparent to the telescope except slight loss of blacking around the Objective lens mount. The leather case and straps show age- and use-related

discolouration and some scuffing and minor losses as shown on the scans but they have protected the instrument well for over a century!

A very fine example of a precision-built Edwardian Stalking / Spotting telescope which may just have also been intended for marine use, given the protective black lacquer used on the sun-shield and eye-piece. The machining of the threads and other mobile components reveals workmanship of a very high quality. This is a compact and highly practical instrument.
