This is an antique Carl Zeiss Jena DF x8 binocular, serial number 216951, dating it to 1910. The bodywork and leather is intact but the paintwork is worn. The prisms and lenses have some dust and a few tiny bits of fungus. One eyecup is odd and one eyelens has, what looks like bubbles around it, possibly separation. The right hand side objective does not screw in tightly. It is out of collimation and there is no carrying case. This would make a good restoration project.
