A pair of antique Victorian/Edwardian triple optic binoculars.
Made of brass and wood, these binoculars feature three eyepiece lenses which rotate using a knob situated to one side, suitable for ‘Theatre’, ‘Field’ and ‘Marine’.
The focus knob is in itself a work of art and undamaged; it is of turned wood and has a sheen similar to the gemstone ‘Tiger’s Eye’.
The lenses are in excellent condition (dust may be present but there are no chips or scratches visible), the body’s original finish is worn. There is a very small dint to one of the objective lens surrounds, but is not very noticeable and does not impede use.
Will be well packed for transit.
All items are USED and will show signs of USE. All items are photographed inside and out. All items are SECURITY MARKED and have a non-removable barcoded security sticker to prevent tampering. It will not be possible to remove or replace internal components without destroying the security measures.
