This is an early example of the famous Thompson telescope made In Great Yarmouth England – in the latter part of the 19th century.
A beautiful addition to any real collection.
The makers name is engraved on the first draw tube barrel, The 3 draw tubes are in good order save for the odd, minor ding. The leather and Wood covered main barrel’s in good order.
In used cosmetic condition showing no indentation please see photography provided.
The 40mm objective lens delivers a clear sharp image which is well focused however the optical condition does show small scratching.Any questions, please ask.
