Message from rodwil0 – I have been on ebay since 2004 and have sold many items. Because I am a good seller with a high feedback score, in their wisdom, ebay have insisted that I change my account which is something that I do not wish to do. As a consequence, ebay have restricted my selling as rodwil0 and suggested that I start a new account. So here we are, a new account name but with the same level of service.
Saigon marked binoculars #503
This is another interesting French made binoculars similar to another set listed (identified #628). These are slightly larger but are very similar in design. These are inscribed Hunalex Paris on the left hand cover plate, and interestingly on the right hand plate are inscribed Ptique Solirene, Place du Theatre, Saigon. They have quite a lot of wear. Most of the paint is missing and part of the leather covering is missing also. Both eye cups are original and are undamaged. The central focusing is a little stiff. The dioptre focusing is smooth. The optics are undamaged but are dirty and require cleaning.
