Vintage binoculars.
Belonged to my late Father.
I have limited knowledge but having done a quick web search I believe them to be WW2 German U-boat binoculars by Leitz but please do your own research prior to bidding.
They have obvious patina of age but in my opinion are in fairly good order, the front rubbers not being perished like some on here.
They are in working order.
Looking thru the front end they would certainly benefit from an internal clean, there are a few fungus spots but more ‘cloudy’ really.
Sadly in the past someone has slipped with a tool while undoing the removable caps and scratched the surface but I’m sure this could be touched up.
Sadly no case.
All in all what I believe to be a highly collectible item of military history in pretty good shape for the age.
Will be packaged thoughtfully for despatch with plenty of bubble wrap padding.
