Although this is a very compact scope a long focal ratio is still achieved by virtue of an extra lens in the focuser – a clever way to deliver better eye relief and a more comfortable viewing experience. This would make an excellent starter package because its simple and quick to set up and you get everything required to start observing moon craters, the rings of Saturn, Jupiters moons and deep sky objects like the Orion Nebula.
