A nice, original condition, Kershaw ‘BINO PRISM’ No 2, Mk ll, x6 military binoculars. These belonged to a wartime Paratrooper I worked with in his later role as a Fireman and came into my possession via his Grandson. I do not know if these were issued or aquired during/after his military service. They appear intact and unmolested apart from the two elongated small holes on the focus scale section of the eyepieces, done I assume, during an attempt at cleaning them. The optics are lovely and clear though what appears to be curled up dry glue is visible on the periphery of the right objective lens. The brown leather strap is non original. Being 75 years old they obviously show general wear to the usual paintwork areas and the focusing is stiff, but doable, as is the interpupillary adjustment.

Due to their individual eyepiece focising and aforementioned stiffness, these would suit a collector more so than for general use.

The original canvas case is in good condition with required brass fixings for attaching to belt or shoulder strap. There are some surface marks that may clean off if you feel the need.

Will weigh approx 1.5 kilo when securely boxed. Please study photos closely as they form part of the listing.
