The central bar and hinge are in good working condition, so it opens and closes smoothly. Both eyecups are in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips (see photos). Cosmetically, considering it’s age, the binocular is in pretty good condition, with just age-related wear to the finish, mainly to the edges of the prism covers and objective surrounds. Please note previous owners’ names are engraved into the objective end prism covers (see photo).

The textured grip/coverings are in pretty much new condition, with no splits or shrinkage. Please note any white areas in the photos are due to the glare of flash photography.Externally, the lenses are in very good condition, with just one or two very feint surface scratches, only noticeable on very close inspection.

Internally the lenses and prisms are physically is good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are a few specks of dust/lint inside and maybe one or two small dots of fungus, but nothing that can be seen during normal use.Considering it’s age and the small objective size, imaging is surprisingly crisp, but please note they would benefit from a good clean and a basic service, as there is some haze. The leather case and shoulder strap are in very good condition, with good stitching and just typical age-related scuffs and blemishes (see photos). The lid retaining strap is functional, but showing some signs of wear (see photo). The neck strap is also in good condition, but remember these straps are 95 years old, so caution is advised. The case carries a previous owners initials to the top of the lid. This item weighs about 800g inc. case & straps etc, so once packed securely will weigh in excess of 1.1 Kg, which is reflected in my shipping costs.Photographs form a very important part of my description and therefore bidders are advised to study them carefully and to contact me for any additional information they may need. This item will be sent by Tracked Delivery within the UK or Airmail Small Packets (International Signed For) if going overseas.CUSTOMERSERVICEWe take customer satisfaction very seriously and always strive to provde a Five Star service.
