Inside of case says INSTRUMENTS D’OPTIQUE DE PRECISION HUNSICKER & ALEXIS CONSTRUCTEURS FOURNISSEURS DU MINISTERE DE LA GUERRE ET DU WAR OFFICE 38 Rue du Surmelin 38 PARIS xx. Inside the case at the bottom is a round red and white sticker reading IF UNDELIVERED PLEASE RETURN TO BM/TJEA LONDON.W.C.1. The case has no damage although it may have a new tab which is still old and very professional, the only reason I say this is the leather is slightly lighter – very hard to tell as the stitching is the same colour at the top.The binolulars are marked Hunsicker and Alexis Paris on the left and a war arrow on each side underneath. I cannot see anything to tell me the magnification. The black leather body is in very good condition and the stitching is perfect. The black paint is worn in places with the brass body showing through.The binoculars are clear although I am no expert.Please feel free to ask any questions. I believe they may be WW1
