Vintage Carl Zeiss Jena binoculars, DEKAREM 10X50 A lovely pair of CarlZeiss Jena Dekarem 10 x 50 binoculars in great condition.The most impressivefeature of Dekarems is their field of view. The binoculars offer a field ofview of 7.3 degrees. With 10x magnification ratio the apparent field of view ofthe eyepieces amounted to as many as 73 degrees! The serial number ofbinoculars is 2763449 which dates them to the mid-1950sThese are in greatcondition with super clear coated optics. Externally, some of the black coatinghas rubbed off, particularly around the right objective. See pictures.They are complete withvery good original leather case and straps. It is simply a cult pairof binoculars, adored by hunters and astronomy enthusiasts because if itsreliability and good optics.
