THESE ARE OBVIOUSLY FAR FROM BRAND NEW AS THEY HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN USED IN THE FIELD BY THE GERMAN FORCES DURING WORLD WAR TWO
OPTICS ARE PRETTY CLEAR INTERNALLY ON BOTH SIDES HOWEVER EXTERNALLY THERE IS SOME CLEANING MARKS & SUPERFICAL SCRATCHES
THEY ARE STILL FIT FOR PURPOSE & WHEN VIEWING THE OPTICS ARE NICE BRIGHT & VERY SHARP ALSO!
INDIVIDUAL FOCUSING & MOVEMENTS ARE MOVING FREELY & FOCUSING NICELY HOWEVER INDIVIDUAL EYEPIECE FOCUSING IS SLIGHTLY FIRMER THAN USUAL
ONE OF THE EYEPIECE CUPS DOES HAVE A CRACK IN IT BUT THIS HAS BEEN THAT WAY EVER SINCE I HAVE OWNED THEM & IS PERHAPS PART OF THERE HISTORY
AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE EBAY PICS THE BINOCULARS ARE STAMPED WITH LEITZ WETZLAR ON LH/ SIDE BODY
THE R/H SIDE BODY HAS DIENSTGLAS 6X30 M H/6400 & M AS FAR AS I AM AWARE IS CODING FOR THESE BEING MARINE ISSUED BINOCULARS
FINALLY THE BINOCULARS SERIAL NUMBER FOR THEM IS STAMPED ON THE SAME SIDE WHICH IS: 251585
FINALLY THEY COME IN THE SHOWN CASE BUT I HAVE NO IDEA IF THIS IS THE ORIGINAL FITTED CASE TO MATCH THESE
