Thus, the system is closed and does not suffer from airturbulence, which could worsen the image. Of course this also acts as optimalprotection against dust. The Schmidt plate has a multi-layer coating, whichmakes for light and low-reflective images.This lens gives very good images,contrast and sharpness and offers great fun when it comes to planetaryobservation. The Schmidt-Cassegrain system is a good all-round device forobservation and photography with a huge range of optional accessories. Bylooking at the end of the bottom tube, simple orientation is possible. Thetelescope can be used successfully even for occasional earth observations (eg.at close range for bird watching),. The SC Celestron optics are designed on anaperture ratio of about 1:10, so astrophotography is still verypossible.Through the primary mirror focusing a very large focus range isguaranteed, which makes it possible to adapt virtually any accessory.
