For sale are a good quality pair of Barr and Stroud binoculars complete with original leather case – possible navy or army in origin.
Marked for ‘Barr & Stroud 7x CF41 Glasgow & London
Each lens has a set of rotating tinted lenses that can be switched into place (3x different colours plus original/unfiltered setting) and these all work well
The binoculars themselves measure 24cm in length and have a really nice weight to them
In very good vintage condition. The lenses are nice and clear – some dust and small flecks of dirt present as you would expect through age and use, but nothing serious at all.
Evidence of a repair to one of the adjustment screws (please see images) but still working as it should.
