The Frontier ED 8×42 binoculars sit in Hawke’s nature series and feature phase corrected prisms and a high-performance ED glass optical system in a magnesium alloy open hinge body. The ED glass, multi-coated optics and phase corrected prisms increases performance and enhances light transmission to deliver a clear, bright viewing experience. The smooth focus knob, with a 1.7 full turn mechanism, fits neatly within easy reach and operates well even with gloved hands. The open hinge cut away design reduces weight making these binoculars less tiring to hold for long periods of time. With a minimal close focus of 2m and an extra wide field of view, the Frontier ED range will not disappoint whether you are viewing subjects close up or at a distance.
