I think these binoculars are very unusual as the have a thumb screw at the side that has positions marked:- Theatre. Field. Marine.which actually turns the 3 different eye piece lenses into position in the eyepiece.There is a small chip on the theatre lens but it still works fine.
The eye caps are engraved Thomas Armstrong & Brother Manchester and Liverpool.and on the barrels.Huddersfield industrial society Ltd.Education Dept.
The size of the binoculars fully extended is 1160 mm.
The eye lenses are about 9mm in diameter and the object lenses 40mm in diameter.
Comes in a rather battered leather case.
