This auction is for genuine Carl Zeiss Jena Binoculars. They were made in the old DDR, German Democratic Republic, and were know for their quality and smooth operation. The case is strong, brown tanned on the outside, lined in red velour type fabric on the inside. There are obvious signs of wear but no cuts in the surface.I am happy to answer questions on this item.Serial Number 4783141. Produced 1977/8. See all pictures for details
