Waterproof to a depth of 1.5 metersThe Hunter 8×56 is not only rain proof and spray water proof, but it is also watertight to a depth of 1.5m (up to 3 minutes). Combined with a very rigid aluminium body and a rubber armouring this makes the Hunter ideal for sailing and for serious outdoor use. Nitrogen FilledThe nitrogen filling prevents fogging from the inside. Without a nitrogen filling fogging is often a problem under moist conditions and with extreme changes in temperature. Fully Multi-Coated LensesAll lenses and prisms feature the best multi-coating available from this manufacturer. This results in a clear, high contrast and above all bright image. Warning for Solar Observations: Never look directly at the sun with any telescope or binocular without the proper filters!
