Carl Zeiss Jena Binoculars JENOPTEM 8×30 Coated Lenses Superb Quality Wide ViewGerman Made Binoculars These Binoculars are as new and in original packaging.Serial number 4385049(1976) production stopped in 1991This is a fine topquality binocular that is in a very good used condition. No scratches on any lenses. Coated Lenses helpsminimize lens reflections, improve the clarityof vision and protect the lenses.There are no areas ofpaint loss which suggests minimal use.The main focus wheel andright diopter adjustment operate smoothly and correctly.Both barrels (in reverseview) clear and bright – see pictures.These binoculars arecollimated for prolonged fatigue – free viewing (no double image)I found the collimationto be ‘very good’ with no eyestrain. Theseare a superb pair of binoculars made by Carl Zeiss the world famous Germanoptical manufactures.The red velvet linedbrown binocular case is in a very good used condition. All stitching is intact.The brown binocular casestrap and black binocular strap (made from leather) are also in a very goodused condition.Stamped – DDR (EastGerman)Constructed of brass,steel and aluminium, covered with black lacquer and leather, Bakelite eyepiecesurrounds. Wide angle of view to aideasy object location.The Jenoptem 8×30 hasbeen a long standing ‘classic’ binocular for many years!These binoculars areboth collectable as they are usable.Binoculars will be wellpacked/padded. The Binoculars come inthe original box with the original instruction manual.
