Although badly out of alignment at present the optics are amazingly good for year. I am sure they can be realigned professionally or even by removing the end plate and loosening the prisms slightly and adjusting while looking through (which I have done in the past!).
As far as I recall the story these were bought during the war by my mother and sent out to or with my father who was a “desert rat” fighting in the Eighth Army in North Africa. Hence the very rough exterior condition! The right eye-piece appears to have been replaced at some stage with one a little too large, but otherwise all original.
