I bought these binoculars new a while ago from Lizars in Edinburgh for 450.00 and due to ill health they have never been used. They are selling on Amazon just now for 428.00

From Best Binocular Reviews:

“These 10×25 Leica compact binoculars are as small as they are powerful: Weighing only 250 grams which is less than 9 ounces, with a powerful 10x magnification and a black rubberized armor over a rugged metal housing they are ideal compact binoculars that you can take with you wherever you go no matter the terrain.”

ConclusionExcellent quality compact binoculars, that are small, light and tough enough for you to take pretty much anywhere and should last you a lifetime. Are they worth the rather hefty price tag? Like all Leica binoculars, they have not skimped on the quality components, the build quality is excellent and they have used the finest grade optics, so they are bound to be expensive. My advice is if you can afford them and you plan on using them often enough, then they are definitely worth it.”
