This is a W.Ottway Military spotting scope from 1945.
Mechanically and optically its very impressive, every thing works as it should, the image is very sharp and crisp, its a joy to use.
Its 35 inches long, the objective is nearly 2.5 inches in diameter.
Its built like a Tank.
It would make a superb iconic statement and also a delight to use.
