O-ring seals and nitrogen gas make them waterproof and fog-free, and the durable body design boasts rubber armoring for reliable performance and a comfortable grip. Extremely portable, these lightweight binoculars are ideal for bird and nature watching. Dielectric high-reflective multilayer roof prism coating ensures consistently high light transmission throughout the visible spectrum for vivid images with natural colors, even at high power. Phase-correction coated roof prisms for high-resolution images. Multilayer-coated lenses and prisms for remarkably bright, images. Eco-glass optics, free of lead and arsenic, are used for all lenses and prisms. Close focusing distance of only 3m. Waterproof (to 1 m for 10 minutes) and fog-free, with O-ring seals and nitrogen gas, for added resistance to the elements. High-eyepoint design provides clear field of view, even when wearing glasses. Turn-and-slide rubber eyecups with multi-click system make it easy to find the eye correct eyepoint. Rubber armoring for shock resistance and a firm, comfortable grip. Lightweight and durable body made from carbon fiber and glass-reinforced polycarbonate resin.
