These are the Carl Zeiss waterproof rubber armoured 7 x 50 glasses with individual eyepiece focussing, originally made for marine use, but because of their optical qualities are sought after for use in any conditions requiring rugged high performance. I have owned them since about 1980 and have never used them at sea having them mostly for wildlife observation, and they are only for sale because I have bought a pair of Victory 8 x 42’s. Optically they are first class and the condition is generally very good for their age, apart from a few scuffs to the paintwork on the bridge which I have tried to show in the photographs. The eye cups, rainguard and lens covers are sound with no splitting and they come with the leather carrying strap. I will only send within the UK via Royal Mail First Class signed for service.
