VINTAGE SWIFT AUDUBON HR/5 8.5 x 44 BINOCULARS HIGH QUALITY & VERY RARE BINOCULARS & SERIAL No.860859.THESE BINOCULARS ARE IN GOOD/AVERAGE FULLY WORKING CONDITION BUT WITH OBVIOUS SIGNS OF USE & WEAR & AGE RELATED PATINA TO THE OUTER BODYSHELL & DESPITE THIS THE OPTICS ARE SUPER SUPER BRIGHT & CRYSTAL CLEAR ,THOUGH THE LEFT HAND SIDE LENS DOES HAVE WHEN LOOKING THROUGH LEFT EYEPIECE ON THE FAR RIGHT OF A FOCUSED IMAGE THERE IS A VERY VERY FAINT SINGLE OUT OF FOCUS FLECK OF DUST , I AM TOLD IT IS POSSIBLE TO UNSCREW THE LENSES/OPTICS WITH THIS PARTICULAR MODEL FOR CLEANING PURPOSES ,BUT IT IS SOMETHING THAT I WOULD RATHER LEAVE FOR SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING . DESPITE THIS THE OPTICS ARE CRYSTAL CLEAR/BRIGHT WITH NO MARKS OR SCRATCHES OR FUNGUS OR FOGGING TO THE OPTICS (PLEASE SEE PICTURES),THESE ARE LOVELY LOVELY BINOCULARS INDEED WITH THE AGE OF THESE BINOCULARS IS APPROX CIRCA @ 1970s/1980s ,BUT UNSURE OF EXACT AGE ?
