Please see more photos belowA pair of CARL ZEISS JENA DODECAREM 12X50 B binoculars in overall, very good condition both mechanically ( smooth focusing etc.. ) and cosmetically. Unfortunately, the disc which would have had the serial number is missing. I do not know the origin or the purpose of the projecting rod ( may have been used as a stabiliser with a tripod) to the front of the binoculars, ( any information would be appreciated). The lenses give good bright clear sharp images, as you would expect and are fungus free. The eyepiece and objective lenses are all scratch free. Cosmetically, the binoculars have no serious marks worth mentioning with wear to the rubber (little remaining) surrounding the eyepiece lenses.
