For sale are my old Nikon compact Binoculars. They have served me well hill walking for the past 12 years, but its time to let them go in favour of slightly bigger binoculars to aid my ageing eyes.
They are Nikon Travelite IV, 10×25, 5 Degrees. That is, 10x Magnification, 25mm Objective Lens Diameter and 5 degree field of view.
They are in pretty good condition for age. A few scuffs and scratches, but no major blemishes. There is a small plastic cover missing over the right lens barrel – you can see from the pictures, so this may make the binos not water resistant.
The case is made of plastic material and though not damaged, it does look a wee bit frayed around the edges.
The binos come with their original eye cup protectors.
The quality of the optics are as good as new though with no visible/noticeable scratches on any of the glass pieces. They will be a really good first set of binos for someone.
