A Skywatcher Startravel 120 refractor telescope OTA with red dot finderscope. It has a large 120mm objective lens and a focal length of 600mm giving a very fast focal ratio of f5. It is supplied with 25mm wide angle & 10mm high power modified achromat eyepieces and prism star diagonal which gives correctly oriented views of astronomical and terrestrial objects. Note that their is no mount or tripod supplied but it is fitted with tube rings and a standard astro dovetail bar and so should be able to be used with a wide range of telescope mounts.This telescope gives excellent wide field views of deep space objects such as nebula and galaxies and I’ve also found it to be surprisingly good on planets and the moon too despite the fact that it is more geared towards deep space objects. The focuser has an adapter which allows it to take both 2″ and 1.25″ eyepiece accessories. The focuser also has a built in t-thread adapter to allow a DSLR camera with a t-ring to be attached.
